March 21, 2022

LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, the Nevada Chapter of the National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy Committee (NLPOA-Advocacy) announced their endorsement of Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo for Nevada governor.

Founded to promote equality and professionalism in law enforcement, the National Latino Peace Officers Association is one of the largest Latino officer associations in the country and aims to bridge the gap between the Latino community and police through bilingual assistance, awareness, and advocacy.

“The National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy Committee Nevada Charter is proud to support Joe Lombardo as the next Governor for the Great State of Nevada. Joe Lombardo is prepared to bring more business and industry to the state of Nevada in order to grow more jobs,” said the Nevada NLPOA-Advocacy. “Joe has been a model sheriff for others in Nevada and has kept Southern Nevada safe. Joe Lombardo will do the same for all Nevadans. Joe Lombardo’s goals and agenda for Nevada also fall within our organization’s mission and goals. Therefore, we invite our members, their families, and our friends, to vote for Joe Lombardo for Governor of Nevada.”

“As sheriff, I’ve worked to expand Metro’s community outreach programs, so it’s an honor to receive the endorsement of the National Latino Peace Officers Association Advocacy Committee, an organization that shares my dedication to community outreach and dialogue,” said Sheriff Joe Lombardo. “I’m grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve received from the diverse voices within the law enforcement community in Nevada. As governor, I’ll immediately address the critical law enforcement issues facing every community in our state today, like restoring law & order and reversing dangerous soft-on-crime legislation.”
